The tranquility of a neighborhood life is threatened when Ian moves in with his dog Bavette; at least that's what his neighbor Johanie, a single mother of two troubled teenagers and their unbearable little dog Cachou, seems to believe. Like a trench dividing the two clans, the back alley witnesses a ruthless rivalry where prejudices, fascinations, and frustrations resonate under the echo of barking.
